Not in the least. In fact when Shaz first told me, my gut response was a really firm, slightly resigned, 'it's going to be a boy.' Be interesting to see if that reaction is accurate, though having a 50/50 chance of being right, it doesn't mean much if it is.
I'm just really, really hoping for a girl. Always wanted a daughter, so until it's confirmed otherwise one way or the other, I'm referring to the child in the feminine rather than call it 'it'.
Actually what I'm really hoping for is a baby, with the right number of body parts, chromosomes, & braincells. I'd be rather disappointed if Sharon gave birth to something like a pirahna fish or a table lamp.
Though new vinyl for the car seats would be nice...
