I wonder if they're the Brits I was hanging around chatting to at the Cosy Corner campground. I started talking to one of them at the Albany library, and then stopped by their camp to give them avocadoes on my way home from the beach. They'd come across the Nullarbor not long before - I don't know if it was long enough though. I remember that two of them were called Dave and Andy, but they're not exactly uncommon names.
