Cracks

So I'm walking through the house, and I see something small and pink on the floor. I pick it up and realise it's the little finger off my left hand. Little bugger had snapped clean off. More worryingly, as I bent to collect it I made the same noise as ice in a room temperature drink, almost unnoticable little creaks and plinks.

Wandering into the bathroom, I noticed a spiderweb of delicate lines over my face. As I examined one, a bit of my cheek cracked clean across, and a chunk fell into the sink. I can hear the skin starting to give way as I smile

Yup. The cracks are starting to appear. The time of comfortable numbness is slowly passing...

Wonder how long before I shatter?

Uh oh. This is where you start stocking up on gaffer tape and superglue, isn't it? Or someone that's really good at jigsaws...
