I've had all variants (thanks to crumbly teeth) - the requirement for a full crown like yours, just a filling, and once the wonderful news that 'it's just a corner of the tooth, I'll just smooth the edges and it'll be fine'.

Dentists charge a fortune, and my one's pretty pricey, but I'm prepared to pay it cause he'll fit me straight away if I've broken a tooth. Last time it was sharp enough to cut my tongue and I couldn't speak properly!
