Maybe you have more faith in natterers and whisperers than I do. I definitely have a lot of faith in old women, though. Tell 80% of old women a dirty joke and you see the raunchy, bawdy human being beneath, and sometimes you can see who they were and what they looked like when they were young. ;)

I do concede two points of yours, though. While I dislike the fact that we live in a society where some people can't understand love, whatever its consensual manifestation and even don't wish to be exposed to the happiness of others, I understand that you find it in yourself to respect their shortcomings.
