I remember being stunned at the recent suspended sentence given to and Australian female teacher who had sexual intercourse with a male student over a period of months, because it was only a short time after a male teacher who had been given jail time even though he hadn't actually had sex with his female student! THAT pisses me off.
I don't pretend to understand seeing 5 year olds as sexual objects. Though I suppose there could be an argument that, like rape, it's not about sex but power. Either way the overzealous witchhunt mentality is what spawned the wave of hoax claims of vast satanic paedophile rings in the 80s.
As for YouTube it's wonderful. I've written about Olbermann before and he's about the only journalist with any integrity in the US at the moment. Though I recently read an article that said close to 50% of "Young Adults" get there news, not from a traditional source, but from Jon Stewart's The Daily Show.
