And I have seen stuff - perfectly innocent ways of interacting with the kids that the elves do to put them at their ease or make them smile, like picking them up, hugging them, tickling them, adjusting their clothes for the picture, etc. - that would actually be considered dangerous for me to do in case I got complaints.
