Most people are shy about sharing their lives. I think they are worried about being ridiculed, or hurt, or they may just feel it's no one's business but their own. All are valid reasons.

For me this journal is a way for the people who are important to me to know my life in detail. Sometimes more detail than they'd like, but there you go. Other people just happen to get to see it also :)
