Didn't do a big annouce, just referred to him as Lex the first time a few posts back, after the ultrasound lady confirmed it was a boy. We had planned on Alexander, after Sharon's grandfather, for a boy, and Alexandrovna, after my grandmother, for a girl. Still allowing for the bub popping out, us taking a look and staying, "Oh it's a Marvin."

Sharon's grandfather often gets his name shortened to Alec, so Lex works. Plus it also works as a reference to Lex Luthor, and to the Lexx "The greatest weapon of destruction in the two universes." While those are definitely not the reason for the name, as is obvious, they are bonuses. We still call it Nibblet from time to time.

I'm still hoping the lady was wrong. I have told Shaz that she will just have to keep having babies until I get a daughter ;)
