Well, at present I only have a pannier rack (which can take bags hung off the side as well as stuff strapped to the top), but for a trip of that magnitude may well want to arrange a trailer. By then I'll hopefully have a good idea of how much I'll need, since cumbernotathome and I are thinking of trying out some overnight or longer cycling-camping trips.
