What will make it worse is that I haven't watched Elm St. 5 in at least 7 or 8 years.
Memory for real life stuff, rubbish. Memory for film/tv I've watched - not a patch on what it used to be, but still good.
I saw Cronenberg's Dead Ringers at the cinema. A year or so later I spotted the one second cut to the video release. I complained to the company that the video didn't state that it was an edited release, and they admitted they thought no-on would notice.
But that was back in the days when I could walk out of a first viewing and could quote chunks of dialogue verbatim. These days I get even a basic line wrong.
