Maybe because my expectations were lowered by the Xmas special, I didn't really mind this one.

I think that the Dr really needs an offsider.

I think the adhoc nature of this years efforts, 5 specials? Is going to give far more disconnect as a Dr Who episode NEEDS to have some continuity and they wont do that until Emo Doc takes over I'm guessing.

Having said all that, the ending was VERY clunky, the wandering around and meeting others seemed to be very um cardboard, plot device level at best.
