Oh, I agree - it's a lot of work but I felt it was great to do. It was less work for me because I did it over a couple of weeks, though. :o)

Incidentally, to try and make it easier I'm going to tag them with something indicative as I upload them to flickr, so when I want them all at the end of the year they'll already be there, selected. Since I upload so many photos all the time anyway, I figure this is the easiest way to streamline the process.
