The Phantom Menace has almost no good scenes and is not worth $2 and 2cm of shelf space.
Actually, the Phantom Menace has saved me a considerable amount of money: by seeing that film in the theatre, I have saved myself from buying it; from watching Attack of the Clones or Revenge of the Sith in the theatre (or buying the DVDs); and from buying the "original" trilogy on DVD.
I probably should cull my collection a bit; there's a couple of movies in there that I'll probably never get around to watching (especially the ones that star Tom Cruise ... gack!)
