They give you a list of things to be done, and the cleaners to use, if you want your entire bond back. If you used all these folks you'd likely have spent well over half your bond anyway.

We had a friend who did all that was asked, hired the people recommended, etc. and she only got back about half her bond.

I would have fought it if we'd been moving into another rental, but wasn't worth the time or stress since we'd not have to worry about it again.
