No news

No news as yet on the CAT scan. I dutifully rang the doc and was told to try later, as the results had yet to arrive because Dandenong can tend to be slack. Tried later and was told to try again today. Or tomorrow. Dandenong is that slack.

Oh! And I got my Health Care Card the other day, which means cheap public transport and movie tickets! Woohoo! Now I only need to be able to leave the house! lol

In other news, I'm very pretty and find it fun to watch my 17yo dog asleep and having puppy dreams. Oh and the third episode of season 2 (or 28, if you have to go that way) of Doctor Who rocked. Great music, well written characters and there weren't any of the big plot holes that seem to come with Davies' scripts. It's the first one that ws good enough to make me want to immediately rewatch it. The first two are enjoyable, but I can wait until they show on the ABC.

Does anyone know when that will be yet?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to disobey your express instructions and send my best wishes and hugs that whatever it bothering you is easy to diagnose and fix and that you feel better soon. Blame my inescapable upbringing :->

Hey man, know you don't want sympathy, but just wanted to stop by and say I'm really sorry to hear you've been laid so low by this thing, and I hope you're able to get some relief from it soon. All the best, Andy

Never mind if you have something SERIOUS THAT NEEDS TO BE ATTENDED TO! Did you at any stage consider just fronting up at an emergency department? You'd have to wait ages as is usual with ERs, but at least they might have admitted you and got the tests done ASAP.

Re Doctor Who, I loved the third ep too. It was great how they addressed the issues of the companions, and seeing some old friends {avoiding spoilers}

No idea about seeeing them locally, I would assume not until later this year.

Are you watching the "confidentials" as well?

I thought ep 3 had more plot holes than ep 1 and 2 combined (well, maybe not combined). Ep 2 is my favourite, follwed by 3. 3 had amazing emotional stuff and that's what sold it. But the school stuff was a bit pants. And don't get me started on speccy kid.

The revolution will commence soon :) So now you *have* to get better so you can join in..

re your brain-scan icon - like this one? (points)

my own brain - note the evidence of my twisted status :)

I'm very upset to catch up on the state of your health - you'll just have to accept a bloody big hug from me whether you like it or not. *I* need a hug.

Though I reckon seeing pictures of your own brain would be cool.

All my love, anyhow.
