Can totally relate to the not being an artist but being able to go to the nth degree on the computer. It's one of the things I love about graphic design - I can thumb my nose at my teachers at school who didn't like my messy hand done classwork, and I can now produce beautifully tidy pages with clean lines and items lined up absolutely perfectly, which appeals to the perfectionist side of me.

Re messiness around the house - labelled boxes and containers are your friend :)
