Just got the album in the mail based on this LJ post. And I'm loving it. I've realised that the problem with Murray Gold is mostly the sound mix on the episodes themselves. That said, his music for Runaway Bride is craptacularly bad.

And you're right, Impossible Planet score is filmic in quality.

Shame he left out that brilliant piece from The Doctor Dances when the Doctor shows Rose his moves with the nanogenes.
