Did a word count last night. I've written about 220,000 words in this LJ.

The most common word I have used is "the" with over eight thousand appearances. Strangely, I have only used the word "snogging" once. "Dalek" was only used nineteen times, "cock" is fifty-one times and "sex" is two-hundred and eighty-four times.

"Quasinuclearphaseinterlockeddipthrungretarders" has only been used once, and it was in this post.

Nope, but that was my jumping off point. Downloaded a program called ljarchive and dumped info from that into Word.

Of course that was a fiddly way of doing it. If anyone knows of any progs that give an overall word count, rather than one that break it up into how many times a word has been used, that would be great.
