Hoorah!

I've just booked my room for Swancon! It has a window... that opens to the outside world!

*does happy dance*

Congratulations!

I hope to see you there, though I don't get to even *try* to organise leave until the end of Jan, so I'll find out later :-)

Hmmm, guess I should think about organising myself a ticket and such then. I had previously deleted Swancon from my list because I was going to be otherwise occupied that weekend. I'd forgotten about it.

We're booked our room as well and we were beginning to think Swancom wasn't going to have a hotel until now .

We've got a goth room ;).

Been debating whether to go. I've never been to Perth and this is one of the few years when Passover and Easter do not coincide. OTOH, it's unclear whether Stephen will get the time off and it's a long way and expensive...

Superior queen, eh? Me too :-)

We booked today too, and we have an outside window too! Ooooooh!

Whoot.. finally! Couldn't snare one of the suite rooms, so got a windowed one instead.

Does this mean you'll be taking the train? ;)

[identity profile] ariaflame.livejournal.com 2007-10-24 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
One of the inside dim ones? I also. I've been in both an inside and a windowed one there and to be honest I don't mind the lack of outside window. I am certainly safe from peeping toms. And I don't have to worry about glaring light from streetlamps when getting to sleep.

*You* were worried about it? I was starting to get my nailbiting habit back.

[identity profile] meljane.livejournal.com 2007-10-24 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
We don't mind so much not having an outside window , we just need our sleep , especially since I usually go to bed at late hours compared to Ken .

We had one above a standard room when were on the commitee so it'll be interesting to see the what the effect of a low light room will do to us mentally .

Oh.
*crosses binoculars off the travel list*

[identity profile] dalekboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-24 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
*fingers crossed*

If you do get there, we shall talk!

[identity profile] dalekboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-24 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
It was only after I had book I remembered the suite rooms.

[identity profile] dalekboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-24 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Yep! My current aim is to put aside enough money from profits from the business to pay for a ticket for Sharon, too.

It's good to hear that a} you're coming back and b} you won't be suffering like a dog in a hot car.

But remember, you're probably going to be facing out to the back instead of the nice quaint laneway...

Room. With Window. Natural light! Eeeeeeeeeee!
