...well, if I don't outrageously stuff up the interview. The reporter is coming around today to interview Sharon and I about sperm donation. They also want a photo, though I assume of our faces, not my sperm.

I'm going to ask for John Smith as my alias again, because I like the Doctor Who reference. Failing that, I may ask if Sharon and I can be called Verity and Sidney :)

Hope we do a good job. It'll be seen by a lot of people and if our words are good it may lead to more people donating.

Whats the point of using an Alias if your photo is goign to be right there for anybody to see?

People are unlikely to guess my name from a photo. The photo is there to humanise the article (especially if it's husband and wife saying people should donate), and the alias is so I don't end up with hundreds of women contacting me wanting to know if I was their donor, or asking me for *ahem* private donations :)

I was thinking last night that I could be David Whitaker.

Oh! Oh! Russell Enoch! hehehehe... I like the Smith because it's pretty common. No-one's going to ring every Smith in the phone book. And while I'm not in the phone book under Oz, if you google my name I'm the third and fourth entries (just checked that).

And why shouldn't they want a photo of your sperm? I'm sure it's very nice sperm, or you wouldn't be in demand as a donor.

...if they do want a photo, will your sperm also have an alias?

I think Emilio is the best bet here. I never really liked Trevor as an alias, and Barry is just too alliterative.
