Deep Dreams

You can always tell when I'm busy, I don't get around to posting or reading LJ, but I had to take time out to share this.

You know it's a good start to the day when you wake from a dream in which you meet and talk to Deep Roy. And if I hadn't woken up, I have no doubt he would have been up for signing some stuff. Mondy was there too. He was the first to speak to Deep.

Anyway, His Majesty is calling for attention (Lex, not Mondy), so must be off.

See I was avoiding all mention of the finer details here (because other people's dream are FUCKING DULL!) but now I should tell you because it will amuse you.

We were both working in a hospital, and we got introduced to Deep Roy who specialised in rectal examinations. We were told that the patients liked him because he had small hands. I am honestly not making this up.

Our chat was generally about his film/TV work, though he seemed happy that we knew his pre-Oompa Loompa career. I got the impression you were deliberately holding back on mentioning the X-Files episode, I know I was hoping that you wouldn't, at least not on our first meeting.

I woke up thinking about Deep Roy, and have had the Augustus Gloop song stuck in my head all day.
