I could go for the ones everyone remembers Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Star Wars but instead I present a rare appearance by Deep Roy in Blake's 7. Why is it rare? Because virtually every time he appeared in the show, he was covered in half a tonne of latex!

He's good out of latex, but we shouldn't knock his ability to actually act and emote through half a tonne of latex.

I am always fond of actors like Roy, who spend most of their careers hidden away under one prosthetic or another, and who are rarely if ever going to be acknowledged for the excellent performers they are.

Nabil Shaban is another actor like this.

That is my absolute favourite episode of Blake's 7. This speed chess scene really stuck with me, but actually EVERY scene in this ep is awesome.
