Blurry is to do with depth of field, you need to adjust exposure to make it longer and increase the f-stop to open up the lens to get more in focus. this assumes you are not on automatic settings. I usually have the camera on auto focus and auto settings, as this gives me a half way decent photo even if I just take photos with my eyes closed or no glasses for close focus.
