Best Doctor Poll

In reaction to the announcement that David Tennant is the most popular Doctor, I thought I'd do a poll that was a little more realistic. Of course he's going to be voted most popular Doc! He's on screen now, you bloody idiots! Lots of the voters have only been watching a couple of years! Grrrr...

Right, rules for the quiz - hit all the boxes that are near enough to how you feel/your experience.

If you are going to pick a Best Doctor, then you have to pick a Worst Doctor, even if you've only seen two. This doesn't mean you don't like them, but if someone's coming top, then someone's got to come bottom.

Needless to say, you should only vote someone for Best/Worst that you feel you've seen enough of to make a fair decision. No voting Worst for a Doctor you haven't seen/barely know/have no interest in seeing. That is unfair.

Speaking of unfair, today is merciless attack day. I will attack anyone who makes comments that annoy me in the slightest. I'm just in one of those moods, as you can tell by the second last question (I actually have a $10 bet on Tom, BTW). Even if I like you ordinarily, today I will tear you to shreds, because... well... it's the internet and my testosterone is backing up.

You have been warned...

[edit] And I'm going to have to beat myself up. Was feeling tired and transposed my own friggin' Best and Worst Doctor's! Imagine my shock when I found out that the bastard who put Hartnell as Worst was myself!

I will only allow mocking that leaves me no room to come back... all other mocking will be attacked brutally *grin*

[Poll #884207]

I quite like the current Doctor, but as I haven't seen any others (and haven't seen all that many episodes either) to compare him to, I'll refrain from completing the poll. =P

Is there anywhere on the web good for (unbiased) Bio's and info on past Doctors?? You have my curiosity going crazy....

I should have added that as I've only really seen the last two, picking a best (well, I went with favourite) and worst doctor was quite easy, but I might have put one of the others as worst —I've seen tiny fragments of Tom Baker and one other (I can't remember who, it was on the ABC in the last couple of years... he'd be the one I'd most likely choose) but I haven't seen sufficient to make it 'fair' to judge them:-)

I just assume many people will love the first doctor that they see, and view others as cheap knockoffs.

I like the angsty Eccleston, and have watched Pertwee, Tennant and a little Baker.

i can proudly say that i said i have seen all the doctors except the latest 2. i used to be extermely proud of having watched them all through, however i can't remember them all. I refuse to watch the new ones yet out of protest, it seems like it is too cool nowerdays.

Poor Colin Baker suffered bad scripts, bad stories, bad clothes and a bad assistant. I got really really really sick of them being trapped wherever it is, and Perry screaming all the bloody time. It is good that him and Paul McGan redeem themselves somewhat with Big Finish. To the point where Kerry was trying to tell me that something was Colin Baker and I refused to believe him on the grounds that it was too good to be him.

AFAIK you can edit your own responses. Not sure how you get to the page, but I know I did it once when I answered a poll on someone's LJ and put in the answers backwards - and he noticed I'd put them in wrong, and kindly sent me a link to the page so I could change it.

I am, like you, unsurprised at the result for favourite Doctor, but I am shocked and appalled at that for second-worst Doctor. Good grief! He was and always will be my favourite (unless Tennant starts getting better scripts). :-)
