Post Interview

Interview went well. Sian was great. Sharon and I spoke for a couple of hours about donating, Tracy, Nibblet, SF fandom, droving, mini-strokes, etc. It's looking like we'll be Sharon and Danny Smith.

Photo-wise, none were taken today (was sort of aware of this, as Sian had mentioned it would probably be too short a notice to get a photographer) and she said that if they decide they need a piccie, they may get one of us while we're in Perth! So it'll be a while before the piece sees the light of day.

Of course I shaved my beard off two weeks earlier than I was going to, just in case, but oh well. The interview made a nice break from trying to either render stuff, or get things together for a possible clip I might be doing.

Scary when a two hour interview is more restful than preparations for a con :)

I hear you, though the hour lecture on crystallography I gave today was right up there in stress levels with con prep.

Probably be a while before it's finished. Suspect we're just a part of a larger feature. But once I know details of when it's coming out, I'll post up here.

I hadn't read LJ properly for ages, and suddenly you were moving overseas! It was a hell of a surprise! How it's all going well for you (saw your post on your brother whingeing) and the move is as good for you folks as ours was for us :)

We're doing really well. We miss Aerin's dad who stayed back because of immigration paperwork not being complete and debts not yet finished pay, but we're settling fine. Just a little stir crazy and ready to get out and be a regular part of society, but these things take time.

I have to say that it's probably the best decision we could have made!
