That was poor wording on my part, I should have made it clear that I was talking about the insurance angle. I don't remember any hotels pre-S11 insisting on insurance either, but I may be wrong on that.
Even had hotels tell us how much they wanted the insurance for i.e. $10,000,000.
And given that this insurance was more expensive because of the terrorists, I find it pretty damned cheeky to then say "Oh, and this policy doesn't cover you for acts of terrorism."
