I cracked a tooth a couple of weeks ago. The dentist tells me I need a crown (expensive gloom) and tomorrow I go in to have it ground down to a stump, preparatory to fitting the crown. I'm not looking forward to that...
With luck you'll just need a filling -- I've had that before. But don't leave it too long. If it does get infected, you won't like it!
