Nobody deserves to be abused or assulted no matter who they are in my book .
The thing I find so wrong about the abuse that I suffered as a child was not so much myself being beaten and feeling helpless was that my intellectually handicapped sister had to suffer as well and there was nothing I could do about it , even when I was a young adult .
Even now in the present having them deny that anything happened in the past and that they think that I don't like them for no reason at all just adds to the confusion I feel and makes me question if I was over reacting .
But every once in awhile different things remind me that what they both did was wrong , neither of us deserved the abuse and no one deserves to beaten and made to feel worthless , whether they be man, woman, child or animal .
