and if you remember the tv soap "Class of '74/'75, that was one of the typical plot lines. More seriously thought, at the school were my mother worked there was a case where girls diciplined on a school camp got revenge by saying a teacher exposed himself. That dragged on 6 years, the teacher lost everything until the one of the now adult girls admitted it was a lie. Those of you who know the history of the Salem Witch Hunts will recognise the exact same situation & one of the central tenets of Orwell's "1984" was parents being afraid of being accused by their children. Forget those terrorists in Guantamano, there are people still in in prison in the US convicted on nothing more than hysteria over "Satanic Child Abuse" on testimony that could not have possibly taken place that had coached by obsessed social workers. Remember that mad woman in the NSW Parliament who was convinced that there was a vast conspiracy of child abusers in the judiciary? I shudder to think what the next witch hunt will be....
