Having seen the pic, I agree that it's not a good photo, it looks like a hastily taken happy snap. That's not a bad thing, and a lot of her work is similar in feel, raw moments caught by surprise, but they tend to look significantly better than this.
As to your reaction is it were you, well that's very much a personal matter. Some people would be upset and offended, some would laugh and shake their heads.
