Ok, that's not true, but I just had a truly delightful phonecall. The phone rang, I picked up (I usually let the answering machine get it) and a New Zealand accent said "Hello is that Mis- Mister-" brief pause, intake of breath, choke noise and she hung up. Telemarketers have the numbers rung automatically by computer. When they get answered, then the computer gives the phone jockey the name of who they are talking to.
Being the only T.H.E. Bastard in the phone book has its advantages :)
