Just back from scattering ashes in country Victoria. Poor Lex had an awful time. Trip messed with his routine worse than normal and I totally failed to listen to my instincts, which meant we stayed for lunch today which really buggered his routine.

So, we've had a very unhappy small person for the better part of seven hours travel. And of course, he made sure we were unhappy, too. Sharon's wrecked and has a week of work awaiting her, I'm wrecked and have a week of getting ready for rent inspection, and we just have to hope that Lex isn't going to make us pay for anywhere up to two weeks for the trip away.

On the good news front, we had a frog waiting for us in the back yard when we came home!

Frogs are cool!
