I'm only commenting on what I've read so far (antarctic slang) It is frightening how similiar our slang is between the Brits and Yanks. Though we still do lean toward the Brits in humour thank (John Cleese). A British colleague recently commented on how British (humour wise) we actually are. I tend to agree.
