Dalekboy

I gave the kids in my mothers group very cheap handmade stuff for their first birthday - all stuff that was paper-based and likely to be destroyed in the first ten minutes, on the principle that that would be just as much fun as a $20 toy that broke or got boring in the first ten minutes :-) I've also given several people a copy of "Sparrow's" first mix-CD, the same one I gave Sharon for you guys, which cost me the price of a R-CD and cover :-). If you ever want to chat about sciencey-educationy-type handmade or otherwise very cheap age-appropriate toys, let me know and I'll go through my books/braincupboards and give you a few suggestions. I have no problem being seen as cheap -grin-.
