It was all serendipitis luck. I very occasionally check to see if anyone new has friended me, and if people have, I go check out their LJ's and try to figure out if I know them. I didn't know you, but your first posts are talking about the sort of traveling I like to do, I felt an immediate kinship, so had to respond.
And I'm delighted and honoured that I'm one of the reasons you started an LJ. I hope it's something you find works for you.
