No, it was more a 'farkin 'ell, thanks for the curve ball, Life'. Sounds difficult, & all, financially & personally, etc, etc. Can you do anything with being co-owners WITH your Mum? Will that avoid stamp duty & save you the need for the other bit of paper? That is, can she sign over half the house, or add you to the mortgage, whatever it is?
