Oh and I hate, Hate, HATE, HATE comment addiction. Where I write something and within 5 minutes I'm looking and hoping for a comment. Since when did I become so fucking needy? Getting disappointed because my friends and some complete strangers have better things to do than reply to the post where I talk about flossing the dog and bathing my teeth. Would I even talk to these people about this stuff in person. No! You know why? Because it's boring!
This got discussed on a panel on addiction and obbession at Fandomedia... you're not the only one! I posted the first story I'd written in ages and only 2 people replied and one of them was Drhoz.. (not that I'm complaining..). You go to the effort of writing and get the 'read me! read me!' buzz and then it's such a let down...

I love LJ - I started when I was in Japan, so I wouldn't have to say the same thing in 10 emails to 10 different people... and managed to reconnect to a lot of people I would have lost contact with due to us graduating from Murdoch, or would have only seen at swancon...
