I tend to not remember details of dreams unless they have similar content to dreams I've previously had. Y'know the whole repetitive dream thing. Quite often the dream isn't truly repetitive, just similar.
What I do remember, however, is the emotions attached to a dream. Those emotions have sometimes taken me by surprise and caused some confusion - like having a really steamy, sexy dream about someone you had never considered in that way before.
