True. One of my friends has MND. He made Christmas this year, and everyone is surprised and pleased, as they didn't expect him to make his birthday (in November). He hasn't been able to do anything for months (literally bedridden with tubes), but still has his sense of humour. Visiting him is still always a pleasure, so it's that terrible phase of not wanting to lose his friendship and his humour, but not wanting him to have to lie around and be so frustrated anymore (which he is.) *sigh* I've been composing a post about death because it has been on my mind a lot lately, but I'm not quite sure which thoughts I want to express yet.
