Well, I can't speak for your past, but the guy you are now is friendly, generous, and not a bad bloke. You're not perfect, but I don't know anyone who is. Speaking personally, making the time for you doesn't feel like an imposition, whereas it can for some.
Making time for Lameo, even when it was to tell him that I hated him... I got less joy from the time spent with him than I do cleaning toilets.
