Wasn't going to get one for at least a year or so, but now I might.

So I want reviews and impressions by those of you that use PDA phones. Prefer something that's not network locked so I can use it on 3 and move it to other networks as needed. This would be my last one for a fair while, so it's got to be sturdy. PDA must be easy to use without too-small buttons. Phone just needs to be able to ring people and send & get sms messages. One that talks to windows would be handy, but not essential.

I may just end up getting another phone, but would like to know my options.

Thank you, my dears

I have a Treo. However I don't use it as a phone anymore - just as a PDA. It's phone function became unreliable even though the PDA bit still functions just fine. Rather than replace it, I bought the cheapest phone that Dick Smith had and have been very happy with that choice. I don't need the PDA functions most places I go and the cheap phone is much easier to carry around. There is also much less concern for its safety. I have accidentally dropped the phone from a height on a couple of occasions and not sweated it too much - it is a tough little (non-Razr) Motorola.
