1. Go to http://www.careercruising.com
2. Put in Username: nycareers, Password: landmark.

4. Post the top ten results.

19.Zoologist
27.Park Warden / Ranger
29.Conservation Officer
31.Environmental Engineer - All things I have an interest in.

5.Illustrator
6.Civil Engineering Tech
7.Set Designer
8.Sign Maker
9.Special Effects Technician
10.Landscape Architect

You know, looking at the way my skills are progressing, 2. would be an interesting career move... In the absense of being able to write the way I want, 14. Photographer, isn't looking bad either... and then there's the secret 2 year project I'm working on... *grin*

And my favourite, especially in light of recent Belwood events...
36.Race Car Mechanic

Number 2 is what I actually do for a living. 5 and 6 are hillarious, as I can't draw to save myself. And I loved number 11 and 12:
11. Winemaker
12. Potter

I'd love to do either of those :)

My top ten were all engineering and science, to no great surprise. In fact the only non-sci-eng careers in the top twenty were makeup artist (at 13), elevator installer and repairer (at 17) and set designer (at 20). I am amused that elevator tech came in one higher than oceanographer, and that arborist only ranked 9. I think they need to include "science communicator" as one of their possible careers - they asked the right kind of questions for it.
