Two quotes

The first is from the notice board at Cocklebiddy -

The darkness of the Soul
Is not lighted by moving the Body
to another place.

I know a few people who need to think about that one.


The other is the source of my 'friends' icon made by addierox. The full quote (from Grey's Anatomy) follows -

No one likes to lose control. But still there are times when it just gets away from you. When the world stops spinning and you realize that nothing’s gonna save you. No matter how hard you fight it, you fall. And it’s scary as hell. Except, there’s an upside to free falling — it’s the chance you give your friends to catch you.

And is particularly apt in regards to my situation over the last few weeks. Thank to all the friends that continue to catch me.

Yep! Spot on. It's no good running away if you just carry all your problems with you, you just wind up miserable somewhere else. The only reason to make a move to solve problems is if you know that something about where you're going will actively help, or that your current environment is an issue, as opposed to thinking that a move on its own is enough.
