Given people's reactions, I figured what the hell! Mainly about genital hair, but the rest gets a brief look-in. Answers viewable to none, comments open to all.

[Poll #1068864]

Well, everyone knows everything about me, so it's only fair :)

But seriously, even though I put answers viewable to no-one as the pref, I can still see them, just the way the system is designed. I used to make a point of saying that I would be able to see the answers with polls, but I sort of figure we're not discussing super-personal stuff here, so not as much need. That's also why comments aren't screened for a change. If I think people may wish to say something that may be personal, I screen.

I go for the reduced viability because even though most people are curious to see their friends answers, polls with results that are viewable get about a quarter the hits of the 'anonymous' ones. And the anonymous ones only get answered by about a quarter of the people who look at them. People want to see what their friends are saying, but they don't want their answers seen. This poll has had over 40 hits, but only 7 people have answered it, so far.

The Shave Poll has had 120 hits, but it's limited by its nature to fewer people answering, since some don't care about facial hair that much.

Having the answers is not that convenient. The info is no good to me beyond my usual curiosity about people. Though it has helped me with a couple of folks, as in realising that they really needed someone to talk to, so I've made time for them in a safe environment and left the rest to them.

It's funny, all the stuff you usually screen are topics that I don't really care about if people see what I have to say. However this topic on hair is one that I am particularly senstive to and would prefer to have had my comments screened (no matter now as alot of people have read them already and I wrote them censored so that people could).

But hey, I'm weird.

Everyone is different as to what they are sensitive about.
