I figure people post up cryptic bits of bad news from time to time, You don't know what the nad news is, you just know that something unfortunate has happened that relates in some way to a friend.
So why not post up cryptic bits of good news? And you can be pleased that a couple of people I know are doing something that I think is cool :)
