I have to admit, I was a little sceptical about this one. Almost no dialogue and it's basically a bunch of blokes blowing each other away. However, once I got to our rehearsal I saw how they were approaching it and was impressed, then I saw the animated storyboards and was over the moon.

Like the team on Burley, these folks knew what they wanted and how they wanted to achieve it. Filming was quick, smooth and reasonably enjoyable. The attitude from the cast and crew was relaxed and happy. It was all good.

Randall Berger as Dominic, the man who brings us together...

Chris Lassig (storyboards & script), Shaun Bracey (Nick, a Russian gangster), Richard Pappas (Frank, an Italian gangster), Daniel Jackson (Sergio, Italian), Alex Ling (Alex, Russian). Between Daniel and Alex you can just make out the animated storyboard on the computer.

The Russian Gangsters - Alex, yours truly as Boris, and Shaun. We're the cut-price, badly clothed gangsters.

The Italian Gangsters - Daniel, Richard and Steve Durbin as Leo. They got the nice clothes, the bastards!

Give guys guns and we all become Dirty Harry. It's interesting actually, because one of the things they wanted for the piece was for each of us to have a different style, it took quite a bit of working out. We figured out our different characters first, then tried to apply that to how they'd shoot. Apparently, I look rather mean when I gun people down.

Michelle Celebicanin as Tania, the femme fatale. That's Mark's arse as he applies blood to Richard. It was a good set to talk genre stuff, too. Mark and Rads (who sadly I can't find a piccie of) were both astounded that I had seen Serenity, having not heard about the advance screenings. A bunch of us talked Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dr. Who... it was good.

Richard got to lay like this for over an hour, the lucky devil.

An unfortunate shot of our director, Andrew Saunders, as it looks like he's groping Michelle. But it was a fairly shenanigan free set, if you don't count the things I had to do that gave me sore knees. I don't think I got a single shot of Andrew's face, which adds to his debonair air of mystery.

Echoes of the future - Come on, face it. You all know I'm going to end this way

My favourite shot from the film. I saw the shadows while they were setting up a shot and asked Michelle if she'd mind standing back where she was. I didn't ask Richard because, let's face it, he wasn't going anywhere.

As usual, if I have anything wrong, or have missed some names, please let me know.

Edit Notes
I've gone through and changed the thumbnails back to full sized piccies. This is more because I actually prefer to have the full sized pics than the thumbnails, I just thought it was kinder to people's bandwidth to go the extra step. But no-one said they preferred being able to click the thumbnails and I noticed that comments on my pics dropped off as well, so what the hell...
