As _soon_ as he bites, take him off—and cheer him up with the toys. Once he's settled, it's 'safe' to put him back on.
It won't take long for him to learn... but yes... ow for a day or so:-( Although, I always found the teeth were kind of not as bad as the gums during the teething process...
We've just been out and bought another Westinghouse. The old one, that just died, lasted 30 years. And they're made in Australia, so hopefully for our variable conditions.
We got something a similar size to our old one, freezer down one side, fridge the other (that way all mum's stuff can be up high so she doesn't have to bend), the efficiency rating is rather good, and given that they revamped the ratings a while back because of the dramatic improvement in tech, it should be waaaaaaaaaaaay more efficient than our old one.
Cost around $1600, and it gets delivered tomorrow. Some stuff has already been lost, but hopefully we can save the frozen breast milk thanks to the thermal mass of all the frozen stuff packed around it.
I lived out of an esky my first week here. Lots of tinned food and takeaway. I was *so* glad to get my fridge working again. Tinned food isn't anywhere near as nice as it used to be back when I was a girl guide.

Well, I'll be keeping my VHS then.
I don't mind if they can't find the fottage, but I want the info clearly marked so you know you're paying for an incomplete product.
Apparently the DVD of the series The Addams Family has some cuts also.
