Bob May, the Robot from Lost in Space is dead, as is Tony Hart, the artist/tv presenter who gave us Morph.

In years to come, older fans will talk about Black January, when so many old childhood favourites died. I mean, they're all old, death is not unexpected, but so many is such a short space!

Hey universe! I think four in one month is more than enough, okay? What about giving us February off?

I remember Morph!

This is turning into a fairly sucky month for this.

Black January is very apt

5 Childhood favourites & two deaths close to home - this is not the summer holiday I had planned to have.

This is such a sucky month

Was Tony Hart in VisionOn too? Or does no one else remember that show?

Apparently he was in Vision On, but I don't remember it. Take Hart I remember. Although I have to say from reading the cast list of Vision On I would have liked to have seen it.

I remember the show, with considerable affection.

And I'm busily reminding myself that while we've lost some people who enriched us, we're also losing George W. Bush, so "Black January" might not be the best way of... ok, I'll shut up before I dig myself in deeper.
