Small milestones

As mentioned the other day, Lex is getting teeth. This doesn't seem to bother him too much. But yesterday and today were two milestones I've been waiting for.

Yesterday, in the shower, in the middle of all his screaming. he grabbed my beard with both hands. He didn't actually pull on it, just sort of held on. But I'm sure he'll soon get around to pulling on it. Certainly during the shower he managed to reach into my armpit and pull the hair there hard enough. Very glad I hold him high.

And today, as I ws getting him out of the car, he grabbed the glasses right off my face. He's never shown any interest in them before, but grab them he did, covering the lenses in mucky baby fingerprints.

Awww... my little boy is growing up.

At some stage you're going to have to teach him how *not* to leave fingerprints. It's an important skill. ;-)

That, and they're fun to share! People always talk about how boring it is when people show baby pictures... which really isn't the case. Only those who have never been there, or never cared, feel that way.
